Beeri Finance — Israeli Mortgages

Buying a home in Israel as an Oleh or from abroad comes with unfamiliar banking requirements. Beeri Finance (formerly IREC, Israeli Real Estate Consulting) provides mortgage advice for Americans and other foreign residents, Olim, self-employed borrowers and investors across Israel. Be'eri Gurtler Har-Tuv is a mortgage consultant and economist, with experience investing in and advising on Israeli real estate since 2010. He previously worked as a mortgage banker at Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank and as an economist at the Israel Securities Authority and the Accountant General's division of the Israeli Ministry of Finance. He served on the board of the Israeli Mortgage Consultants Association from 2020 to 2022 and, at the banks' request, has lectured to the mortgage departments of Discount Bank and Mizrahi-Tefahot on foreign buyers. From a family of Olim, Be'eri understands the challenges of making a home in Israel. He holds a BA in economics and cognitive science, summa cum laude, and an MA in financial economics in the honors program, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
